Here is the Conclusion of this Letter and a Response from the Editorial Staff :

I was however troubled by something else I found on your site. On it's political page ( http://www.calcity.biz/politics.htm ) you have the following statement: The editor@CalCity.Biz Does Not Endorse Any Particular Candidate or Political View .

Unfortunately you do in fact endorse a particular political view, as is evidenced by the link which leads to these pages of misinformation about Democrats and the democratic ticket for President:

As I stated above, truthful and factual information is critical for voters in our Republic to make proper decisions. Your efforts to further distribute debunked Internet rumors and untruthful political talking points does not serve your readers, nor does it reflect well on your website overall. You have every right to communicate your beliefs and opinions, the First Amendment guarantees this privilege, but when you do so please be forthright and honest. CalCity.biz does in fact endorse a political view, and that view is decidedly against Democrats and their choice for President.

Again, thank you for the information you provided regarding local city elections; that, at least, was helpful.

As you correctly stated in your letter, we all "have every right to communicate your beliefs and opinions, the First Amendment guarantees this privilege" and we apologize if people are offended by the information presented.

Please keep in mind that all the information referenced here is provided by "Other Sources" and "Not Written" by staff, as it has been forwarded to us for consideration by the public.
If you or any other citizen feel strongly enough to provide evidence to the contrary of statements by others, this input is surely welcome and will be considered as well, along with your personal opinions.
With respect to you and others comments regarding the statement "The editor@CalCity.Biz Does Not Endorse Any Particular Candidate or Political View" we have modified this to be "The editor@CalCity.Biz Encourages the Public to Investigate All Information Posted Here and Welcomes Input to Factually Dispute or Verify Facts on Any Candidates or Proposition."

In conclusion, we hope this action does address the matter adequately for the public.
